In
1977, Cathy Wilt, better known in the community as the Kalico Lady, had a dream. Cathy wanted to make sure her restaurant
was a place where families could go out to eat and get the best ‘home cooked’ meal in town.
After
over 30 years, her vision is still alive. Good news travels fast. Cathy has customers who come to Kalico Kitchen, from far
and near, because they know they’re going get served-up the best meal around.
The
menu hasn’t changed much over the years, at Kalico Kitchen, because people keep coming back for more of the same good
food.
Business
has BOOMED, with the addition of a larger seating area, a closed- in-patio and a Meat Market / Deli-Take-out. And though the
business is growing, Cathy will always stay in touch with what brought Kalico Kitchen to where it is today: Great food at
a great price, with southern hospitality.
